Canmore Public Library Art Gallery

Located in the Canmore Public Library the Art Gallery hosts varied exhibitions throughout the year, from photographic, to quilting, to local artists and sculptors.

Canmore Artists and Artisans Guild (CAAG) was created in 1980 by a group of artists to bring awareness of art and creativity to the Canmore community.

CAAG is a member of the Mountain Arts Foundation, and is a non-profit organisation relying on volunteers to function successfully.

In 1995 CAAG was given custodian responsibilities of the Canmore Public Library Gallery.

CAAG run the gallery for the enjoyment of the community, and also make an annual donation to the library for its varying needs. All donations to CAAG are gratefully accepted and put to good use supporting two crucial areas of the community, the library and the art gallery
