Directions from Canmore:
Follow signs to the Canmore Nordic Centre, and stay on the Spray Lakes Road until reaching the end of the paved road, follow the gravel road which becomes the Smith Dorrien - Spray Trail (#742 South) for about 37 km south along the edge of Spray Lake, to the Mount Shark Road turnoff. Turn Right.
If the road is closed at Canmore, it is open all year round from Highway 40 South. Turn onto the Spray Lakes Road. It will take 1.5 hours from Canmore using this alternative.
