Alpine Club of Canada Clubhouse

The Clubhouse is located 4.5 km northeast of the town of Canmore on a bench above the highway on the sunny north side of the Bow Valley. Although it is close to the amenities of Canmore and Banff it maintains a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.

With the exception of groceries, the Clubhouse is equipped to provide everything required for a stay, and can be used as a one night jump off point to the backcountry or for longer term recreation in the Canmore area.

• Living roon with library of mountain literature and fireplace
• Selection of local guide books and maps, audio-visual equipment is also available
• The Clubhouse is licensed, selling beer and snacks

• Bar-b-que on the deck
• Pay phone and free local-call phone
• Coin-operated e-mail available
• Meeting room which can hold up to 30 people

The Bell Cabin:

• Private and self-contained accommodation, perfect for large groups (up to 15 people) or a couple of families
• Completely equipped kitchen
• 2 washrooms and showers
• Living room with fireplace
