Cougar Creek outdoor ice rink

Cougar Creek outdoor ice rink is located on the corner of Elk Run Boulevard and Canyon Road, and offers an ice surface approximately 20m x 35m.

The Town of Canmore maintains the rink daily with ice building and patch filling when required. The surface is also reflooded/resurfaced 3-5 times a week during the skating season, subject to weather conditions.

Cougar Creek rink has the following amenities:

• Skating/hockey rink with boards and nets
• Player benches
• Small ice surface for toddlers
• Sticks and pucks allowed
• Lights for night use (to 10pm)
• Portable toilet on site
• Parking at Cougar Creek Trail Head
