Canmore activities - swimming

Canmore is certainly to be envied, it has many great facilities in the town including an outstanding recreation centre located next to the Canmore Golf Course. Membership is not a requirement as you can simply pay drop in fees to use the centres facilities on a one-off basis. Or of course you can buy varied passes, depending on your needs, time available and budget.

The 25m saltwater state of the art indoor pool also has a hot tub and steam room in the pool area, a small slide and a rope swing.

Access to the pool is through male or female changing rooms, and a nice touch is that outdoor footwear is banned from the changing rooms. You take your shoes off in the hallway and either leave them on the shelving provided, or carry them in with you and leave in your locker. Once you've experienced clean changing room floors you'll never want to use a changing room that doesn't have this rule again.

Open seven days a week, early to late, there's no excuse that it's not open long enough.
